1* Michelin restaurant – true example of a classical and traditional French fine-dining experience, set in the lovely setting of the prestigious Hotel Albert 1er. Very good food without trying too hard.
Maison Carrier (Chamonix)
Rediscover the cuisine from the past – A more rustic version from the same owners of the Albert Premiere, la Maison Carrier is set in a beautiful converted barn – In the centre of the restaurant, racks of lamb and suckling pig are slowly spit-roasted in the open fire.

A great lunch option if skiing ‘le Tour’ ski area for the day, or a snow-shoe activity for the evening. Non-skiers can take the train from Argentiere/Chamonix to Vallorcine. Reservations Essential.
